Rubber Care & Repair - Session #1 - SOLD OUT

  • Eagle Leather 80 Hoddle Street Abbotsford, VIC, 3067 Australia (map)

Ever wanted to know how to fix that little tear or hole in your latex, so you can get more wear out of your collection?

In this class you will learn the basics of rubber repair, what chemicals you'll need and how to use them, and you'll get a chance to do a basic repair on a tear yourself on a piece of latex (provided) or bring along your own damaged latex item.

Electra has established herself in the Australian latex community as the go to person to learn about all things latex. Her skills and knowledge with wearing, playing and making latex have stemmed from 30 years of being in the industry as a Professional Dominatrix, Fetish Model and Latex Designer.

The co-owner of Bella Rubber, Electra has made countless one off outfits for many people in the local scene and also shares her skills with other designers, passing on her latex expertise.

During this Slick workshop, Electra will be teaching you how to do basic repairs to your latex outfit and sharing tips on how to clean and maintain your latex for longevity. Prior experience is not necessary, however this workshop is STRICTLY 8 attendees only. Bookings are required.

The workshop will be approximately 1.5-2 hours duration. Please note: Glue and Solvents used in the repair of rubber can be noxious and/or overwhelming to first-timers. We strongly advise participants to wear face masks for this workshop.
